Therizinosaurus was a strange-looking bipedal dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period.
It had a small head with a beaked mouth, atop a long neck. It was first thought to have been a giant turtle-like animal until later discovery of its more complete remains proved otherwise. The gigantic sword-like claws of this animal are its most remarkable feature.
