Fresno Chaffee Zoo
Located in Roeding Park in Fresno, California – the Fresno Chaffee Zoo covers 39 acres, housing over 190 species. The zoo was officially opened in 1929 as the Roeding Park Zoo. As the zoo grew and expanded its animal collection over the years, it was renamed the Fresno Zoo in 1985.
